Hard work from Malte Schmidt & Robert Hirsch this 3 blade props are simply FANTASTIC
I write
my first feelingsAVR Prop size are 20,25 x 21 front and 19,75 x 22 rear.
- Constant Speed, more than with 2 blade props falcon or Mejlik, the change it’s so big. - Less noise, now with this props the sound is very low, but when you go full throttle you feel the power - Weight... it’s not a problem only 38 gr more than 2 blade AVR props - Consumption, same...doing one P23 2420 mha and with 2 blade props 2490 mha wasted, with high wind. So here not a problem...Learning with this props it’s very easy...first at all maybe you feel strange but in 2 or 3 flights , you’re prepared to do a hard training session.
Relative to throttle curve, you don’t need it... people who use ContraDrive system knows that you will need some throttle curve to feel comfortable with your plane becouse you have a lot of brake and a lot of power with two blade... now with 3 blade this doesn’t exist.
Braking... is simply perfect, you dont need complicated braking system, you fix your drive, your props and YES!! constant speed is done.... simply
Power
, you have enough to do all you want, with this props you loss maybe 2-3 % maximum power... but this is not a problem, I flew with 25-30 km/h and no problem
